The Key To A Healthy Body

Basically, I eat like crap. It might not show, but truthfully, I have the worst eating habits. I have forced myself to come to terms with the fact that I can no longer eat whatever I crave. Yes I’m still young and in shape, but there will come a point in time where my body is going to stop taking all of the bull crap and actually show the results of my bad eating habits. I’ve recently started working out, which is helpful, but if I’m still eating badly then working out won’t give me the results I’m looking for! I need to start working out and eating healthy-that’s the key to success my friend. So, I’ve decided no more eating late at night (past 9pm), no more greasy fast food, and I definitely have to cut back on the sugar (cavities are a pain in the butt)! I guess my mind thinks that my body will look like a 20 year old forever. But the truth is yet to come, and it’s better to get in good shape now before it’s too late. Another thing that you have to keep in mind is quantity. I’ve never been a big eater, but for those of you out there that love to have 3 big meals a day, it might be a good idea to cut back and make those portions a little bit smaller. That is definitely a big factor-portion control. I have found that eating small amounts throughout the day is very helpful in maintaining a healthy weight, along with regularly exercising (I jog around the neighborhood every other night). When you have a healthy body, your confidence and self-esteem will become even higher.

Along with those elements, another thing you can do is eat a lot of fruit ! Some of my favorites are avocados, bananas, berries, kiwis, pineapple, and apples. I’ll eat these fruits when I’m hungry throughout the day, or when I have a craving for sweets. Fruits give me the same sugary satisfaction that I normally get from candy. Also I like to have at least one piece of fruit in the morning because it gives me the energy I need to start my day off right. Likewise, dried fruit be a great snack to munch on when you’re feeling hungry! Dried mango is my favorite.
