Home for the Holidays (ho! ho! ho!)

Being home for the holidays is something I really cherish–I get to spend time with my amazing family for almost a month! This means home cooked meals, not having to do my own laundry, sleeping in my own bed, playing with my dogs, and so much more. Not to mention the fact that I have more time on my hands, which means I get to focus more on my blog!

I got home Tuesday morning, so obviously on Wednesday my mother and I went shopping in the city. A little “pre-Christmas” shopping if you will…hehehe. I have such a blast going to the city with my mom, especially during the holidays! All of the stores decorate with festive colors, and Union Square really puts the cherry on top with their ice skating rink and huge Christmas tree. If you get the chance to go to Union Square during the holidays, make SURE to go check out Macy’s–the SF SPCA brings puppies and kittens that are available for adoption and puts them on display in Macy’s windows! So adorable, I wish I could have taken a puppy home with me!

Anyways, this post is dedicated to the love I have for winter. I absolutely adore this time of the year not only because it’s refreshing to have some cold weather, but because of the great styles and trends emerging in the fashion world. Cozy sweaters, jeans, leggings, boots, scarves, oh my! The combinations are endless.

I am wearing a Zara long sleeve oversized sweater, Zara camp skinny trousers, H&M black studded hat, H&M purse, and H&M boots. Not to mention my adorable new snowman iPhone 5 case! Ahh I’m in love!
