As much as us fashionistas love spending money on new clothes, sometimes our budgets just won’t give us what we want. It’s important to remember that everything in our closet was once new//once loved….and can totally be re-amped into something even better with a little inspiration. This post is dedicated to the pieces in our closets that we push aside and simply forget. Ladies, it’s time to go shopping in our own closets!
The other day, I was cleaning out my closet and discovered some amazing pieces that I’ve totally been neglecting! This is why I love cleaning out my closet…it’s like getting a whole new wardrobe! I love finding old clothes and styling them in different, new ways!
Here are some of the pieces that I found hidden in the deep corners of my closet:
Found this simple, white dress that I got many years ago! Along with my first pair of Christian Louboutin pumps that I discovered in a small consignment shop. (Never under estimate the power of consignment stores! You can find some amazing pieces!)
Rediscovered these trendy Jeffrey Campbell flats! I love that they have a thin strap that goes around the ankle, super feminine. I got these babies about two years ago from Nasty Gal…but I can’t find them anywhere now…glad I got my hands on them when I could! And this cute crop top from Zara! Obsessed with the black letters that resemble paint strokes. I got this top maybe a year ago, but haven’t had the chance to wear it! Perfect for summer, so glad I found it.
I’m in love with these Truth or Dare flats! They are super comfy, and perfect for work! Not to mention they go with almost everything in my closet!
Well babes, I hope these pictures and this post inspires you to go shopping in your own closet! Sometimes we all just need a little inspiration! Also, if you’re cleaning out your closet…definitely take your unwanted clothes to a consignment shop, or sell them online!
